Jupp Heynckes says that he has no interest in becoming the new coach of Barcelona.

Former Bayern Munich boss Jupp Heynckes has ruled himself out of the running to become the next coach of Barcelona.

The Spanish champions are searching for a new man in charge after Tito Vilanova was forced to step down at Camp Nou due to his ongoing battle with cancer.

Heynckes, who won the treble with Bayern in his final year at the club, has been touted as a possible replacement, but he insists that he has no interest in coming out of retirement.

"I'm keeping myself busy with hobbies and sport," Heynckes told Sky Sports News. "I have my animals and a huge garden.

"I think it would be impossible for me, after working at Bayern Munich, now to take over a new club.

"I have understood the signals my body has been giving me and I am feeling good, enjoying the time I have for myself."

Heynckes has been replaced at Bayern by former Barca coach Pep Guardiola.
