Hector Bellerin 'has already agreed to leave Arsenal this summer'

Hector Bellerin is set to leave Arsenal at the end of the season as part of a verbal agreement with manager Mikel Arteta, according to a report.

Hector Bellerin is reportedly certain to head for the exit door at Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

The Spain international is currently Mikel Arteta's first-choice right-back and has made 27 appearances in all competitions this term, although he continues to be criticised by a portion of the Arsenal fanbase.

Bellerin was linked with an exit last summer but ended up remaining at the Emirates Stadium after conversations with Arteta, who supposedly convinced him to stay on in North London for one more season.

According to ESPN, as Bellerin has fulfilled Arteta's wishes by staying loyal to the Gunners this season, the Arsenal manager will not stand in his way if he wants to move on - an outcome which both sides are expecting.

The 25-year-old has been at Arsenal since the age of 16 after leaving Barcelona's La Masia academy, but a return to the Catalan giants is uncertain after they signed Sergino Dest from Ajax last summer.

A move to Paris Saint-Germain has also been mooted, but the French champions are expected to sign Alessandro Florenzi from Roma on a permanent deal, so Bellerin's next destination if he leaves Arsenal is unclear.
