Sevilla midfielder Joan Jordan remains a transfer target for Arsenal, according to a report.

Arsenal are reportedly closely watching Joan Jordan as they consider launching a bid for the Sevilla midfielder during this summer's transfer window.

The 26-year-old has been in impressive form for his Spanish club during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring twice and providing seven assists in 42 appearances in all competitions.

Arsenal have been credited with an interest in the Spaniard over the last 12 months or so, but Sevilla have the midfielder on a contract until June 2023, with the deal including a €50m (£38.9m) release clause.

According to Marca, the Gunners are continuing to monitor Jordan as they weigh up a move ahead of the 2021-22 season.

The report also claims that Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is 'in love' with the midfielder's playing style, although the English side have not yet made 'direct contact' with the Europa League holders.

Juventus are also allegedly admirers of the former Espanyol youngster.
