Daniel Alves insists he is happy at Barcelona despite reports linking him with a move away from the La Liga giants.

Daniel Alves has insisted that he intends to see out his Barcelona contract amid speculation doubting his future at the club.

Once a star performer for the Catalan giants, Alves is now no longer a regular in the right-back position that he had made his own at the Nou Camp.

Premier League outfit Arsenal are understood to be one of several clubs interested in the Brazilian, who has dismissed rumours suggesting that he is ready to leave Spain as gossip.

"I'm very happy at Barcelona," he said. "These stories are created to destabilise us. I want to fulfil my contract and reach my goals. I have no problem in Barcelona and I'm very well."

The 29-year-old's Barca contract expires in 2015.
