Aaron Ramsey: 'Arsenal had to dig in to beat Newcastle United'

Aaron Ramsey admits that Arsenal had to "dig in" to earn their 2-1 victory away to Newcastle.

Aaron Ramsey has admitted that Arsenal had to "dig in" to beat Newcastle United in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Gunners earned a 2-1 win at St James' Park as Olivier Giroud scored twice to keep their slim title hopes alive.

Newcastle pushed hard for an equaliser during the final stages of the game, but Arsene Wenger's men were able to hold on for the three points.

Arsenal are back in action on April 4 when they host Liverpool in the league.
