Tomas Rosicky pleased with Arsenal display against Tottenham Hotspur

Tomas Rosicky believes that Arsenal played well against Tottenham Hotspur in their FA Cup third-round tie at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky has said that he is pleased with his side's performance against Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup on Saturday.

The Gunners defeated their North London rivals 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium to progress to the fourth round of the competition.

"I think we played collectively and played very well," he told ITV Sport. "It was important not to make mistakes and we know we have the quality to score goals.

"We can still improve tactically and in shape. We won an important game and it is important for us and the fans."

Santi Cazorla opened the scoring just past the half-hour mark and Rosicky added the second on 62 minutes.
