Aberdeen sign Lukas Culjak from Borussia Dortmund

Aberdeen sign Borussia Dortmund youngster Lukas Culjak on a free transfer.

Aberdeen have announced the signing of Lukas Culjak from Borussia Dortmund on a free transfer.

The 18-year-old moves to the Scottish Premiership high-flyers after successfully completing a trial period with the Dons.

Culjak has agreed a contract with Aberdeen until the end of the season after Dortmund agreed to cover a wage deficit for the ex-Bayern Munich youth-team player, the Evening Express reports.

The Croatian, who has made four appearances in the UEFA Youth League and can play either at centre-back or as a defensive midfielder, is likely to join up with the Dons' Under-20 squad.
