Former NBA guard Howard Eisley has made a switch to the Washington Wizards to become an assistant coach on Randy Wittman's bench.
Eisley featured for 12 seasons in the NBA and most recently spent his last four non-playing campaigns as an assistant with the Los Angeles Clippers.
The former guard will now join up with Don Newman, Don Zierden, Roy Rogers, Pat Sullivan and David Adkins in the staff room as the Wizards prepare for the new season, which starts in late October.
Previously in his career, Eisley turned out for eight different franchises before finishing his time in the league with the Denver Nuggets in 2006.
