Russell Westbrook: 'We're the best team in the league'

Russell Westbrook believes that the Oklahoma City Thunder are proving that they are the best team in the NBA.

Russell Westbrook has insisted that the Oklahoma City Thunder are the best team in the NBA this season.

The point guard starred in his side's latest success as he recorded 31 points and eight assists in the win over the San Antonio Spurs which improved the Thunder's record to 22-4.

"We got the best record in the league; I believe we're the best team in the league regardless of who says this and who says that," Westbrook told reporters.

"You have to go out and play. You can predict anything, but you have to play the game."

Oklahoma will look to earn their 10th win in a row when they face the Toronto Raptors on Sunday night.
