An array of British star names are to feature on the undercard of the IBF heavyweight title showdown between Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois at Wembley.

Matchroom and Queensberry Promotions have formally announced the IBF heavyweight title fight between Daniel Dubois and Anthony Joshua.

Late on Tuesday evening, undisputed champion Oleksandr Usyk revealed that he was vacating his IBF belt in order for Joshua and Dubois to fight for it at Wembley Stadium.

As interim champion, Dubois has since been elevated to the status of IBF champion, with his first defence coming against two-time world champion Joshua on September 21.

The showpiece bout will dominate the build-up to an event that is being supported by Prince Turki Alalshikh, the undercard that has been set up is one of the most spectacular in the history of British boxing.

Warrington attempting to become three-time world champion

Josh Warrington has suffered defeat in his last two outings, both world title fights at featherweight, with a points defeat to Luis Alberto Lopez being followed by a knockout loss to Leigh Wood.

The Leeds fighter will now step up to super-featherweight to challenge Anthony Cacare, who dethroned Joe Cordina last month.

Joshua Buatsi and Willy Hutchinson will go head-to-head for the interim WBO light-heavyweight title, the main belt currently locked up Artur Beterbiev ahead of his undisputed fight with Dmitry Bivol.

Tyler Denny successfully defended his European middleweight belt against Felix Cash on Saturday, yet he will be the underdog against the imposing Hamzah Sheeraz, who starred in stopping Ammo Williams on the Queensberry versus Matchroom card earlier this month.

Liam Smith and Josh Kelly's bout at 154lbs will grab most people's attention, Smith dropping back down to light-middleweight after his September defeat to Chris Eubank Jr and Kelly attempting to kick-start his career on the big stage.

Mark Chamberlain and Josh Padley will also meet in a domestic lightweight contest.
