Monty Williams has said that the New Orleans Pelicans should have kept things simple against the Minnesota Timberwolves last night.
The Pelicans were as far as 30 points behind at one point on their way to the 124-112 defeat.
The coach told reporters: "The reality is the game plan that I gave them was not appropriate for this group.
"We should have just kept it as simple as we had been and made our adjustments from there. I went to an adjustment right from the jump."
The Pelicans face the Boston Celtics tomorrow.
