Jamal Crawford has claimed that his Los Angeles Clippers teammate Chris Paul "set the tone" on his return in the victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday.
Paul, who had been out of action with a shoulder injury since January 3, recorded seven points and eight assists as the Clippers eased to a 123-78 win at the Staples Center.
Crawford, who added 21 points for the Clippers, was eager to praise the point guard for his contribution to a record-breaking margin of victory for the franchise.
"He set the tone," Crawford told reporters after the game. "The energy from when he was introduced, to the level of play that he brings, it makes everybody better."
The Clippers lost six of their 18 games while Paul was out injured.
