Frank Vogel has said that the Indiana Pacers put in a "pretty good effort" to beat the Atlanta Hawks last night.
David West scored 22 as the Eastern Conference leaders secured an 89-85 win over the Southeast Division side.
The Pacers head coach told reporters: "We've had some struggles here, but it's not anything we were losing sleep over.
"Our guys buckled down on the defensive end. [Atlanta] made a few shots in the last minute or two, but for the most part we held a pretty explosive team down to 85 points. That's a pretty good effort."
The result leaves the Pacers four wins clear of the Miami Heat in their conference.
