Kirk Hinrich has been ruled out for at least a couple of more days after suffering a concussion during a pre-season victory over the Indiana Pacers.
The Chicago Bulls veteran's condition has improved since Friday but he will have to be cleared by the NBA before he can make a return to the court.
"He's out. He has a concussion," Tom Thibodeau told journalists. "The league protocol, he'll have to go through a series of tests. Make sure he's okay. He said he was feeling a lot better today."
The Bulls begin the new season against the Miami Heat on October 30.
