Derrick Rose tweaks ankles in return

Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose reveals that he tweaked his sprained ankles in the second quarter of the 95-86 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night.

Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose has revealed that he tweaked his sprained ankles during Wednesday night's win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Bulls secured a 95-86 win over the Bucks to move to 4-1 for the season, with Rose scoring 13 points and putting on seven assists in 31 minutes.

However, he said that his ankles were "still sore" after spraining them during last week's loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers and he aggravated them in a collision in the second quarter.

"Of course I wasn't 100% tonight but I felt like we needed this win. And just try to come out here and do anything it takes to get this win with my teammates," Rose told reporters.

"I might have had no fast-break points or anything but I was able to still affect the game and draw people in with my double-teams to help my teammates out."

The former league MVP insisted that he was hopeful that he would be able to recover in time to face the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night.

Meanwhile, Joakim Noah missed his second consecutive game with flu-like symptoms and he will be a game-time decision for Friday.
