Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose is expected to play against the Orlando Magic at the United Center on Tuesday night.
The 26-year-old sprained both of his ankles in the loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers last Friday and as a result he sat out of Saturday's win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
However, Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau revealed that Rose participated in practice on Monday and he could feature against Orlando.
"We'll see [Tuesday]. He's better today than he was [Sunday]," Thibodeau told reporters.
Thibodeau is also expected to receive additional fitness boosts with both Taj Gibson and Jimmy Butler likely to overcome ankle and thumb injuries respectively.
