Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose scored 11 points in just 14 minutes against the Washington Wizards in his first pre-season game.
The 25-year-old has played in just 10 games in the last two seasons due to two serious knee injuries but he made his return to competitive action at the FIBA World Cup this past summer.
However, making his first appearance in a Bulls uniform at the United Center in almost a year, Rose displayed his aggressiveness and showed no hesitation.
"I thought Derrick played well. Very well. Some good, some bad, a lot to work on," Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau told reporters.
Meanwhile, Bulls center Joakim Noah also featured after undergoing knee surgery this summer and went 1-of-6 from the field in 14 minutes of action.
