Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose has insisted that the hamstring injury he picked up during Thursday night's win over the Toronto Raptors is "minor".
Rose left the game late in the fourth quarter after slipping and falling to the ground but the Bulls were able to go on and secure a 100-93 win.
"I guess it's cramps in my hamstrings. But I think it's minor, and they decided to pull me out," Rose told the media.
"I don't think it's that serious. Just ice it, stim, see if I can practise [Friday] and give it a go Saturday."
Rose's teammate Joakim Noah defended the 26-year-old from criticism and warned the media to "chill out" when reporting on his injuries as the former league MVP continues to struggle with setbacks.
