Brad Stevens has described Kris Humphries as "a pro" following the Boston Celtics' win over the Denver Nuggets last night.
The power forward scored more than 10 points for the first time since being traded to the team during the off-season, adding 18 during the 106-98 victory.
The head coach told reporters: "Our starters played fantastic at the start of the game and got us out to a huge lead. In the second half it was our bench that got us back out to the lead. Kris was a big part of that.
"He's done a good job for us. I think that speaks to his professionalism, too, because this hasn't always been easy for him. But he's been a pro about everything."
Humphries has struggled to find a place in the team since moving to Boston, remaining on the bench for five games so far this season.
