Team GB's Ben Kilner looking ahead to 2018

Great Britain snowboarder Ben Kilner reveals that he is looking ahead to the Winter Olympics in 2018 after failing to make the semi-finals of the half-pipe in Sochi.

Great Britain snowboarder Ben Kilner has revealed that he has his eye on the next Winter Olympics in 2018 after crashing out of the half-pipe in Sochi.

The 25-year-old finished 16th in his heat with a score of 43.50, which wasn't enough to make the semi-finals of the event as he failed to emulate his performance from Vancouver four years ago.

Kilner told reporters: "I always put a lot of pressure on myself and the nerves were fine. I was in good spirit and tried to enjoy the moment. I'm a bit gutted to say the least.

"Pyeongchang is only four years away and I want to be there. I just need to put in some hard graft."

Team GB teammate Dom Harington also exited the competition in the heats.
