Team GB's Greg Drummond expects "tough" Canada match

Greg Drummond admits that winning against Canada in the men's curling final in Sochi on Friday will not be easy.

Team GB's Greg Drummond believes that winning against Canada in the final of the men's curling at the 2014 Winter Olympics will be "tough".

David Murdoch's side got the better of Sweden 6-5 in the semi-finals in Sochi on Wednesday.

"Canada are going to be tough," the 25-year-old told Sky Sports News. "They are a big curling nation and they are always tough to beat.

"We played them earlier this week and had a really close game, just losing by a millimetre. I think, if we put in a good performance, we will get opportunities against them.

"I've put a lot of time into the sport over the last four years and this is what we have been working towards, this one game. To win on Friday would mean the world."

The final will be held at the Ice Cube Curling Center in Sochi on Friday.
