Poland's Kamil Stoch wins the gold medal in the ski jumping large hill at the Winter Olympics in Sochi.

Poland's Kamil Stoch has won the gold medal in the ski jumping large hill at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, adding to the one he clinched in the normal hill event.

Stoch pipped Noriaki Kasai of Japan to first place with the last jump of the round, finishing with a score of 278.7.

Kasai, 41, who was taking part in a record seventh Winter Olympics in Sochi, scored 277.4 points.

Slovenia's Peter Prevc took home the bronze medal with a score of 274.8.
