Scotland's women crowned curling world champions

Scotland win the World Women's Curling Championship, beating Sweden 6-5 in the final.

Scotland have beaten Sweden in the final of the World Women's Curling Championship in Latvia.

The team, led by Eve Muirhead, narrowly beat the Swedes 6-5 after overturning a 2-0 deficit.

The Scottish side had already lost twice to Sweden earlier in the tournament, but were able to win all their other matches to seal a place in the final.

Muirhead, who skippered Britain's team at the 2010 Winter Olympics, was joined by Anna Sloan, Vicki Adams, Claire Hamilton and Lauren Gray.
