French figure skater Brian Joubert has stated that he is determined to do well ahead of what is likely to be the final Winter Olympics of his career.
Joubert was a world champion back in 2007, and will be competing in his fourth Olympic Games when proceedings kick off in Sochi this week.
He told reporters: "I see things differently now and I make the most of every minute. It's surely my final Olympics competition. I have to enjoy it and give it everything I have."
Despite being his nation's most decorated skater of all time, Joubert has continually come up short on the Olympic stage. His sixth-place finish in 2006 is his best result to date.
