Defending champion Petra Kvitova has been eliminated from Wimbledon after losing her third-round match to Jelena Jankovic this evening.
Kvitova looked on course to sail into the last 16 by cruising to a first-set lead, but the Serbian bounced back by winning the next two to clinch a 3-6 7-5 6-4 win in just over two hours.

The Czech star controlled the first set, capitalising on her one break point and holding serve to take the set.
It was a similar story in the second, as Kvitova broke early on and forced Jankovic aside with some powerful hitting from the back of the court.
Jankovic slipped awkwardly halfway through the second set, but picked herself up and fought on, saving two further break points in the same game.
Parity was restored in the eighth game as Jankovic inflicted her first break of serve of the match to level the set at four games apiece, before pulling out another in the 12th to push the second seed into a decider.
Nothing could separate the duo from that point onward, as both held their respective service game for the first nine games, with both knowing that a break of serve could hold the key to victory.
At 5-4, the pressure was on to Kvitova - who beat Eugenie Bouchard for a second Wimbledon title last summer - to hold, but she failed and Jankovic pounced to advance into the fourth round.
