Murray: Mum's crush makes me want to vomit

Andy Murray has claimed that his mother's crush on his quarter final opponent Feliciano Lopez is "disgusting".

Judy Murray, 50, has renamed the Spaniard, 29, "Deliciano" and described him as "Roman god-like" on Twitter.

She posted this morning: "'Oooooooooh Deliciano........looking good out there. As always. Its a FeliFest at Wimbledon tmrw. Twice in one day. Too much. Way too much."

World number four seed Andy, 24, called on his mother to "stop the nonsense", adding: "It makes me want to throw up, it's disgusting."

Meanwhile, Lopez said he expects Judy Murray's admiration to disappear when the pair face off on centre court tomorrow. "She’s funny, she has a great personality. But it’s her family member playing against 'Deliciano', so she won’t be supporting me any more."
