Feliciano Lopez has admitted that he is delighted to have reached the last eight of the US Open for the first time in his career.
Before this year's tournament, Lopez had only ever made it to the quarter-finals of a Grand Slam at Wimbledon, but a terrific run at Flushing Meadows has seen him overcome the likes of Mardy Fish, Milos Raonic and Fabio Fognini.
However, despite breaking new ground in New York, the left-hander has acknowledged that he will be up against it when he meets world number one Novak Djokovic.
The 33-year-old told reporters: "I will be 34 in September so it's a great feeling to be playing like this and reaching my first US Open quarter-final.
"When Novak plays good, you don't know what to do to be honest. He has no weaknesses in his game."
Djokovic has won each of their five previous meetings, but they haven't played each other for almost three years.
