Novak Djokovic has refused to get carried away by talks of successfully defending his US Open title.
The Serbian will be making his sixth successive appearance in the semi-finals on Saturday when takes on David Ferrer.
"I have learned over the years how to deal with it and how to cope with the pressure and get better on the court, off the court, understand the game better," he is quoted as saying by Reuters.
"So right now, I'm just trying to focus on every game individually, but it definitely has a special feeling about it coming as a defending champion. It's unique and I love it."
Djokovic has reached the last four at Flushing Meadows this year without dropping a single set.
