Madison Keys wins first WTA title at Eastbourne

Madison Keys wins her first WTA title with victory over Angelique Kerber in the final of the Aegon International.

Madison Keys has won her first WTA title by beating Angelique Kerber in the final of the Aegon International in Eastbourne.

The American world number 47 clinched the opening set 6-3 before Kerber fought back to take the second 3-6.

However, the 19-year-old edged the final set 7-5 to get her hands on the trophy.

Keys will face Puerto Rico's Monica Puig in the first round of Wimbledon next week.
