Novak Djokovic will take on Roger Federer in the final of the Dubai Tennis Championships following a 6-0 5-7 6-4 victory over Tomas Berdych.
The world number one raced through the first set by grabbing three consecutive breaks and leaving Berdych without one game on the board.
It looked as though the Serbian would wrap up the contest relatively comfortably in the second set after breaking his opponents' serve, but Berdych immediately broke back.
Eventually, the Czech found his feet and went two more breaks up to clinch the second set and push the match into a decider in the United Arab Emirates.
It was a tight contest as games went by the way of serve in the third set, but it was Djokovic who took a vital break and then saved a break point on his own serve to keep the edge.
Despite Berdych's effort in the second, Djokovic managed to see out the set and wrap up the contest.
