Nick Kyrgios has admitted that he "didn't want to be there" in his defeat to Stanislas Wawrinka at Queen's after spending the last week struggling with an illness.
The Australian was beaten 6-3 6-4 in just 49 minutes by the French Open champion in the first round at the Aegon Championships, which he was taking part in for the first time.
After revealing that he has been sick over the last week, the 20-year-old told BBC Sport: "I just felt uncomfortable the whole time, really. Not feeling great. He hit the ball massive, free swinging out there. I almost found it difficult to get myself engaged and didn't want to be there."
Kyrgios is currently 25th in the ATP rankings.
