Milos Raonic narrowly beats Tomas Berdych

Canada's Milos Raonic books his place in the Paris Masters final with a 6-3 3-6 5-7 win over Tomas Berdych.

Milos Roanic has secured a place in the final of the Paris Masters after beating Tomas Berdych 6-3 3-6 7-5 this afternoon.

Raonic, who must win this tournament to guarantee a spot at the ATP Tour Finals, took the lead in the first set early on as Berdych struggled to find his serving rhythm.

One break proved enough for the big-serving Canadian as he faced little resistance from Berdych on his own serve.

The Czech made a bright start to the second though, winning the first three games in a row to take control before ultimately getting the match back on level terms.

There was little between the two men in the decider, although Berdych had a chance to break at 5-5, but Raonic dug deep to force his opponent to serve to keep himself in tie, but the Canadian managed to force a couple of errors to seal the win.

Raonic will face either Novak Djokovic or Kei Nishikori in tomorrow's final.
