Roger Federer yet to decide season schedule

Roger Federer says that he will take a short break before deciding his schedule for the second half of the season.

Roger Federer has said that he will take time out before deciding his schedule for the second half of the season.

The world number two did not want to announce his tournaments until he had finished assessing his performances in Paris, Halle and London.

The 17-time Grand Slam champion reached the quarter-finals at the French Open and won the ATP 500 event in Halle, before finishing runner-up to Novak Djokovic at Wimbledon last Sunday.

According to Tennis.com, Federer said: "[I will] sit down, relax with the family, go on vacation, then probably decide in 10, 12 days time.

"I still just need to wait for some answers, and at the same time just recover and assess what's been going on really."

Federer is awaiting news of Switzerland's Davis Cup outing in September, where they will face a play-off to stay in the World Group.
