Agnieszka Radwanska has begun her French Open campaign with a 6-1 victory over Shahar Peer in Paris.
The Polish pro dominated from the get-go by executing strong serves and swift movement on the clay court to take an early break of serve.
Radwanska's experience proved to be vital as Peer struggled to find her feet and trouble the Pole, who grabbed a one-set lead with ease.
The second set continued to go in Radwanska's favour as she took control of the match with powerful forehands and quick returns, leaving her opponent with too much to do.
While Peer tried to hold her serve on numerous occasions by bringing the Pole's advantage down to deuce, she was unable to launch a comeback as Radwanska kept her French Open hopes alive.
