Maria Sharapova has admitted that she is pleased with her performance following her victory over Jelena Jankovic in the semi-finals of the Miami Masters.
The Russian world number three brushed the Serbian aside 6-2 6-1 on Thursday to progress through to the final in Florida.
"I thought I needed to step it up a lot from my last match," Sharapova said. "I had a very tough opponent and I had to play much better. I was very happy at the way I was able to focus today."
Sharapova, who will meet either Serena Williams or Agnieszka Radwanska in the final, is looking to win her first ever title in Miami.
