Andrea Petkovic has sailed into the French Open second round with a resounding victory over American world number 74 Shelby Rogers.
The 10th seed opened up a 3-0 lead at the start of the opening set before Rogers dug in to claw the break back and get to within a game of the German.
However, Petkovic seized control by breaking two more times on her way to closing it out 6-2.
The former world number nine, who reached last year's semi-finals, was even more ruthless in the second as she sealed her progress 6-2 6-1 with just over an hour on the clock.
Petkovic will now face either Christina McHale or Lourdes Dominguez Lino for a place in round three.
