Victoria Azarenka had to come from a set down to beat Alize Cornet 4-6 6-3 6-3 in the third round of the French Open at Roland Garros.
The third seed was strong at the net during the opening set, but made too many errors on her serve, allowing the French player to get an early break and claim the first set.
The Australian Open champion found her form in the second, while Cornet could not repeat her pace around the court from the opening set.
Azarenka cut her double faults from six in the first to just two in the second set, while Cornet's unforced error count crept up.
The Belarusian looked unstoppable in the deciding set, as her serve continued to improve and her play at the net caught the 31st seed out on several occasions.
Azarenka will face either Marion Bartoli or Francesca Schiavone in the fourth round.
