Marion Bartoli has made it into the third round of the French Open with a straight-sets win over Mariana Duque-Marino of Colombia.
Both players served terribly to start the match, with Bartoli broken twice and Duque-Marino once in the opening four games.
However, from 5-2 down in the opener the Frenchwoman battled back to take four of the next five games and force the tie-break, which she won 7-5.
In the second set again there were breaks galore, with Bartoli drawing first blood in the third before the Colombian hit right back to level it at 2-2.
One more break each followed and the second looked to be heading into another breaker, before Bartoli turned up the pressure at 6-5 up to force a final break and advance to the third round with her first match point.
