Andy Murray happy with French Open preparations

World number three Andy Murray reveals that he is happy with his preparations ahead of the start of this year's French Open at Roland Garros.

Andy Murray has admitted that he will have to continue his recent run on clay in order to progress through his half of the draw at the French Open.

The world number three has won clay-court titles in Munich and Madrid, but he is seeded to meet Nick Kyrgios, John Isner and David Ferrer at Roland Garros before a potential last-four showdown with Novak Djokovic or Rafael Nadal.

The 27-year-old told Sky Sports News: "It's a difficult draw. There are some great players in my part of the draw.

"I got here on Monday to prepare, and I've had four or five days of good practice here. I played a lot of matches in Munich and Madrid and it's been the best I've played before Roland Garros, so I hope that I can have a good run."

Murray has been drawn to play Argentina's Facundo Arguello in the first round.
