World number two Novak Djokovic has advanced into round three of the Cincinnati Open thanks to a straight-sets victory over Andreas Seppi.
The Italian saved two set points in the opening set but eventually went down 7-4 in the tie-break.
Djokovic, who has won all nine of his matches against Seppi, closed out the match 6-2 in the second.
He will face either Nikolay Davydenko or Florian Mayer for a place in the quarter-finals.
