Tennis coach Dani Vallverdu has insisted that he has no problems with Andy Murray, but admits that their relationship may have gone stale towards the end.
Vallverdu was seen as a key part of Murray's coaching team, but they decided to go their separate ways in November after a five-year relationship, and the coach has since started to work with Tomas Berdych.
Vallverdu told the Daily Mail: "We sat and talked for a few hours and that was it, a calm conversation.
"Our professional relationship had run its course. Maybe it had become a bit stale. I thought it was the right time to part. There are no hard feelings but now I have to focus on my career, trying to help Tomas Berdych achieve his goals."
Vallverdu could come up against Murray in the Australian Open, as both Berdych and Murray have made it through to the fourth round.
