Rafael Nadal: 'Novak Djokovic was too good'

Rafael Nadal says that there was little that he could do to stop Novak Djokovic easing past him in the last four of the ATP World Tour Finals on Saturday.

Rafael Nadal has praised Novak Djokovic after the world number one won their last-four clash at the ATP World Tour Finals.

Djokovic failed to produce his best tennis towards the end of the round-robin stage, but he was superb as he ran out a 6-3 6-3 winner against Nadal at the O2 Arena in London.

The 29-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "He's hitting amazing. The return was always amazing. This year he's serving great, I think.

"When somebody's doing like this, the only thing I can do is congratulate him and just wish him not the best of luck for the next year."

Djokovic will play either Roger Federer or Stanislas Wawrinka in Sunday's final.
