Georgia Davies is confident that Wales can reach their ambitious Commonwealth six-medal target in the pool after qualifying for the 50m backstroke final in record time.
The 23-year-old stormed into tonight's showdown by winning her heat and setting a new Games record of 27.90 seconds.
Davies already has a silver medal to her name in Glasgow, while Calum Jarvis and Jack Thomas have also made it onto the podium at Tollcross.
"At the moment, we've got three," Davies told Sports Mole. "We've got Jazz Carlin coming up tonight in the 800m and she's also got the 400m tomorrow.
"I'd like to hope that I can get another in the 50m tonight, but we'll just have to wait and see. I think we've got a good chance of reaching that target and I hope we can."
England currently have 19 medals, while Scotland have nine.
