Calum Jarvis delighted with Commonwealth bronze medal

Calum Jarvis reveals his delight after claiming bronze in the 200m freestyle in Glasgow.

Calum Jarvis has expressed his delight after claiming the first medal in the pool for Wales at the Commonwealth Games on Friday evening.

After finishing behind Australian duo Thomas Fraser-Holmes and Cameron McEvoy in the 200m freestyle final, Jarvis admitted that he was not sure how well he could do in Glasgow.

"I'm really happy to get the first Welsh medal in the pool," Jarvis told reporters. I didn't know what I could get and I've pulled it out the bag."

Jarvis is the first Welsh swimmer to win a Commonwealth medal in the 200m freestyle.
