Team GB swimmer Hannah Miley has insisted that she is not thinking about retiring after missing out on a medal in her favoured event at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
The 27-year-old Scot missed out on a bronze medal by less than a fifth of a second in the 400m individual medley at the weekend.
Miley also failed to qualify for the final in the 200m event, but still has a chance to medal in the 4x200m freestyle relay later this week.
When asked about her future, Miley told BBC Sport: "Retirement is not on the cards yet. I'd need to stop enjoying swimming for that to happen and that's not the case.
"It would be selfish if I just sat in the corner and cried to myself. I need to be strong for the team because it's not just about me.
"I've set myself a target of doing the World Cups to keep myself ticking over. I want to try and find a new way of viewing my races and kind of enjoying it a lot more."
Miley won gold in the 400m medley at the Commonwealth Games in 2014, and nabbed a silver in the event at the European Championships this year.
