Lee Byrne has said that Wales can "put Namibia to the sword" when the two sides meet in their Rugby World Cup Pool D match on Monday.
The 31-year-old full-back, who will make his World Cup debut in New Plymouth, has claimed that the team have struggled in the past against lower-ranked teams.
"Sometimes in the past, we have struggled against lesser teams we should expect to beat," said Byrne.
"But the squad we have got now has the talent to put countries like Namibia to the sword."
Warren Gatland's side are currently in third place in Pool D, but could move up to second with a win.
