Gavin Henson has revealed that he is hoping for a return to the Ospreys after the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
The Wales international, 29, left the region last October after a self-imposed 18-month sabbatical from the game.
Henson has made Warren Gatland’s preliminary World Cup squad and hopes to make the cut when the team is trimmed to 30 men.
Speaking to Blokely, Henson said that he wants his future rugby career to be in Wales.
“I’m just waiting to see what happens with the Welsh rugby, how I get on and whether I go to the World Cup or not and as soon as that comes to an end, whether that’s soon or after the World Cup I will get employment”, Henson said.
“Hopefully that will be the Ospreys if they will have me back but I will have to wait and see.”
