Graham Henry is looking forward to experiencing his first semi-final as coach of New Zealand.

Graham Henry has described himself as "pleased" after seeing his New Zealand side defeat Argentina 33-10 during their quarter-final meeting earlier today.

For coach Henry, next weekend's semi-final meeting with Australia will be his first experience of that stage at a World Cup and the 65-year-old cannot wait for the occasion.

"I've never been to a semi-final before. It's amazing, great," said Henry. "I was pleased with the game. I thought it was a tough old game of football and I thought both sides played particularly well.

"I was pleased with the composure of our fellas. They were under a lot of pressure at times and kept their heads.

"Quarter-finals are always tough games. I'm sure we'll be better for that particular game."

The Wallabies reached the final four after beating reigning champions South Africa this morning.
