Jacques Burger: 'New Zealand test will be incredible'

Jacques Burger admits that it will be "incredible" for Namibia's players to test themselves against New Zealand.

Jacques Burger has admitted that it will be "incredible" for Namibia's players to line up against New Zealand when they begin their World Cup campaign on Thursday.

The All Blacks are firm favourites to defend the title they won four years ago and anything other than a convincing win for Steve Hansen's side would come as a huge shock.

As they bid to push New Zealand to the limit, Burger claims that his teammates are ready to enjoy the occasion at the Olympic Stadium.

"Playing the All Blacks at the Olympic Stadium is incredible for Namibian rugby," the Saracens flanker told reporters.

"A lot of our guys are amateurs and look up to these guys as idols. The experience for all the players - including me, because I've not played against them - will be great. I want to weigh myself against the best in the world."

Namibia have lost all 15 of their World Cup matches since their debut at the tournament in 1999.
