Lyn Jones says that London Welsh are focused on their clash with Northampton Saints as they look to avoid relegation.

London Welsh manager Lyn Jones has said that his side are fully focused on beating Northampton Saints in their Aviva Premiership match on Sunday.

Jones's side are 12 points adrift of London Irish at the foot of the Aviva Premiership, and defeat on Saturday could seal their relegation to the Championship.

"Although we were disappointed with the final result at Bath, we again felt that we showed massive signs of improvement and that the scoreline did not reflect the efforts our players put in," Jones told Sky Sports News.

"A losing bonus point would have been thoroughly deserved, and we hope to go one better on Sunday.

"Northampton are a side that is hurting at the moment after their defeat to Leicester, and are attempting to join Harlequins, Saracens and Tigers in the elite bracket of the Premiership. We are under no illusions as to the size of that challenge they will pose on Sunday. They have got quality players from 1 to 15."

Northampton are currently in fourth place in the Premiership, but are level on points with fifth-placed Gloucester.
